Mushroom Tea Ceremony

Ninety minutes at our Mushroom Tea House in Chiang Mai, guided cup by cup.

Two sittings every morning, 9:00 and 11:00.

You sit at a rammed earth bar in a room with pink lime plaster walls, and a tea master pours for you. Four teas, each paired with a mushroom chosen to meet it. Silver Needle to open, then Tie Guan Yin, Da Hong Pao, and Hojicha to close. The pairings are not decoration. You taste each one on its own first, then together, and the difference is the lesson.

Along the way you learn where each mushroom grows and why it is extracted the way it is. Ask anything. This is the room where we answer properly, without a label to fit it on.

• Please book at least three days ahead, so we can prepare the teas properly
• Book for one person or for a group of up to six
• Mushroom pours are 18+ only. Under-18s are welcome for tea only, with a parent or guardian.
• No experience needed. Curiosity is the only requirement.
• Nothing here is psychoactive. These are functional mushrooms, not psilocybin.
